It's not clear yet what the P5 people are like. The P4 people are pretty good but most of us wind up buying the excellent Millenium people from www.daz3d.com, which would add a lot your overall cost. Last time I checked, the Millenium people were also sold in 3ds format at Zygote but with a much higher price tag. Hi quality photo-based textures are another thing we tend to wind up buying ($5 to $35 per texture depending on exactly what you need), but if you have a digital camera and a friend who'll let you photograph them you can do it yourself. It's hard work though. If you want this for commercial projects and depending on what you have planned in Max, you could also wind up investing a fair bit in hair models and clothing models.
