there is a program called Flagimation (http://www.pegtop.de) which can make animated 'ripple' graphics. Unfortunately, the current version is unavailable from their website but a mirror for the 14-day shareware version is listed above. I made a quickie ani gif of the R'osity logo to serve as an example :-)
