he sounds like his intentions are good, it's just the way he did it that's wrong, if he can change the pages so that he doesn't link to the files themselves & only to the front pages of the websites he'll be ok, only thing is someone's already sent an email to his ISP complaining about it, so his site might not be there for much longer.
