Poser figures in Vue, when seen from close up, should be lighten by several spotlights, most of them shadowless, except the one aimed in the same direction as the sun. That's the way you get the best results. The atmosphere settings are not sufficient to lighten a face. Not in Poser either! Agiel showed in the thread above how to lighten a Poser figure in Vue.
