I don't presume to know what Trav et al intend with these pics, but it seems like they're just meant to give us a quick peek at the m and f figures; something I'm sure a lot of people have been curious about. I'd love to see more; environments, lighting/shadows, full body shots, some sense of how the joints work, etc. But these are a start, for me.
