I now have done my homework, and humbly admit that my legionary is not historically accurate. Don't blame RenaPD, though, I put her up to it ;o) My primary reference was a roman legionary miniature built by a friend of mine who challenged me to make a digital version in Poser. His figure is based on the Poste Militaire figurine of a roman soldier which is described as common legionary from the time of the Marcomanic Wars. According to the review of the figurine on http://www.grenadier.f9.co.uk/poste/romanlegionaryreview.htm ...the accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. That said, try to compare the official illustrations of modern-day soldiers to how they look after a few months in active service. So bear with me, I still hope you can get some fun from using the legionary. Cheers, thip
