Really nice, Brent. It's better than lots of stuff I see on TV all the time. Great to see Carrara used for pro work like this. And it's nice to see it all come together. I had a similar wavy pattern thing happen with windows on a building in an animation I did; I have no idea what caused it, but wound up using a similar approach to yours; to blur the heck out of the background.
