Well, I'm a pretty slow modeller when I'm making things for sale, but I restrict myself to making environments, like my Cyber Studio (a photographic studio), so I reckon that anything I spend a long time doing will at least have a long shelf-life. It doesn't matter how good the figures and the program become. People still need environments to put them in, right? I think the modellers who will be affected by poser 5 are the ones who make clothes, textures and hair. It's inevitable that if you make stuff for model A, then when model B comes out, you have to go back to the drawing-board. If, like me, you make stuff for humans, then you'll be ok until we finally meet another alien intelligence. If I'm still around at that point, then I'll consider making a radical change! But anyway, I doubt if sales are going to plummet for poser 4 products. The vocal minority have already ordered 5 and will dive into it, but there are plenty of people who won't change for a long time. In fact, the only reason I ordered 5 was, I discovered you could run 4 and 5 together and dip into different Runtimes. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have rushed to get it, since my modelling is based around any old human, and 4 is good enough for that. mac PS LOVE the dial-a-tile!!
