wilddial, I've been looking at doing tats again over the last week or so - but lower on the arm. The one person who commented noticed the same thing. "too transfer like" to quote ernyoka. Also there is the problem of translating a flat surface to a nonflat one which I haven't yet tackled. It is hard to judge how well your method works without a referance to the original flat picture, but from what I see, Its ok. Also it is hard to judge how large the tatoo is going to look on the body - I noticed the same thing on yours that I noticed on mine - it's too large. Also Poser blends the colors between the bitmap and whatever color is used for the skin in materials and I think this adds to the "transfer-like appearance." If you are not around people with new tatoos you don't realize how "transfer-like" they can look when new. The "faded" look might appeal to most people as looking more natural. - TJ
