Ideas come and go, too. There are times when everyone has a creativity block. During the ebbs, it could just mean that the creative flow is down. It doesn't mean the place is dying. Give it time and someone will come up with something new. I could offer tons of ideas. Unfortunately, I'm not a modeler, so I can't make things myself, but if anyone wants ideas, maybe someone should start a thread for ideas that the modeling artists could look at and get ideas.
