I like them with a 1-to-1 ratio, because I usually work by typing in numerically and I can normally look at what I'm doing and guess "OK, everything needs to skooch over 2 degrees." But, I think I'm unusual in that. If you're using the dials, that can get out of control real quick, as you know.
