I suspect the problem is actually in the frames. I ran into this on another site that I had purposely framed inside an external coupon offer. The checkout itself was secure, but the browser didn't realize it because the frame was not. I assumed DAZ's checkout was the same situation; perhaps foolish of me. But, if someone had no problem when changing the http to https, I imagine that's it.
