CyberStretch, I sincerely hope that CuriousLabs isn't "in the thralls of pre-launch frenzy". A thrall is a slave, and to be enthralled was NOT a wonderful experience. A thousand years ago, the distinction between captivated or captured was of little importance to the bound man on the auction block. Kupa and Larry do not strike me as the sort of Simon leGreedys who would work their employees half to death and then sell their bony hides on eBay after the product release. Besides, we need the Mac version next. BTW, I suspect that the word you want is "throes" (based upon sound), but English is a rich language, made richer by all the words we have stolen from other languages. Your opening salvo seems combative. Bundling a bunch of concerns together ensures that someone's pet peeve is going to get lost in the crush. In my not humble at all opinion, it would be far better to address each issue unemotionally and separately. There is a decent chance that specific people at CL deal with specific issues, and if directed to look at this thread will scan down it, not see what they are supposed to answer because it was raised in message 38 but two above it were deleted since then, and go back to doing something productive like squashing bugs. If you want attention drawn to a particular issue, and those issues dealt with and solved (or at least an honest attempt in that direction) don't title the thread something derogatory towards a company in general, but raise the issue. "Poser 5 - EULA Concerns!" should attract the attention of the guy who wrote it and the guy who has to defend it. If people restrain themselves to talking about this specific EULA, you might get a clearer understanding of the whys and wherefores. Activation and Security requires its own thread, and maybe two. Content Paradise can probably wait until the product is released. I'm still a SySop on CompuServe. There we have the ability to prune and graft threads, to retitle threads, to move threads, etc.. I don't think the Mods here can do any housekeeping except move stuff out of the way. We shouldn't make it any harder on them by tangling up the conversations from the beginning. Carolly
