I don't think this is a drawback in Carrara. EPS is a postscript file format used widely by graphics people for vectored images. You can't expect a 3D program to have the toolset of an Illustrator or Coreldraw, which are designed to soley do 2D work. I use several different programs to do vector work and import EPS files into the spline modeler, and I never have any problems no matter which one I use. You should be able to draw your shape exactly as you want it in Autocad, and import to a working plane in the spline modeler. Maybe you could tell me exactly what you are doing and see if we can figure out where the snag is?
