Are you double clicking on the bottom right wire frame to enlarge it so it takes up the whole screen? How long does it take for one of your pics to render? Are you trying broadcast or ultra? Even "Final" image shouldn't be this grainy. You are enlarging too small a pic and making it grainy I think. Try to render a larger image size. If you are, then I'm not sure what the problem is. Too bad, since your pics are greatly improving, now we just need to get the render quality better to show your pics off. Dave

Is it me or is Vue3 grainier than Vue2? I just don't remember having to render in Ultra all the time with 2. And soft shadows are still noisy even in "Ultra". Just wondering if anyone else agrees. Gail

I do not have Vue 2 to compare but within Vue 3 Ultra mode and final, there is quite a difference. Things looks smoother, more tight, refine and make colour printing and viewing on a .25 pitch monitor a bliss to look at - IMHO Bill

I've only had Vue 3 and Bryce 4, but even rendering in Ultra is faster then the normal render in Bryce, so, it's no big deal to me. Dave

Rangdalf, good idea to let a pic in BMP, but you cannot publish it on the web then... Guitta
