I checked in CorelDream and Corel dream will import both an ai and a wmf file. I can draw the wmf in autocad and import it to the working plane of Coreldream set my second cross section to twist and taper the bit, then send it to the assembly room in Carrara...3 file transfers. (Wouldn't it be easier to dial direct?) The problem is if you draw a shape with a graphics tablet and want to extrude it you have to go the long way around to get to the same place. I use micrografix instead of Coreldraw on a lot of 2d work because the bump controls, dof and light setups are easier,so I do have several tools to work with. K.I.S.S. is still the best way to do things and I always look for that way first.
