The light is coming through a window which is out of view, just giving shadows of the glazing bars across the scene. I was sort of aiming for one of those wonderful summer early evenings, with a westering sun creating shadows. Obviously it is not working well.

The greatest part of wisdom is learning to develop  the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."
