Hmmmmmm. I don't know what was going on here, but are you sure that these aren't the same render? I ask because I have done much the same thing and seen obvious and wonderful differences between the two modes of rendering. And (depending on the settings for the lights and the engine) not much more than the expected time difference. I'm talking something like 5 minutes for the P4 renderer and maybe 10-15 for Firefly. I've just come to 'osity after getting my P5 and am amazed at the number of negative posts. I haven't had many problems and have seen vast improvement in the program as a whole. How strange. Usually I get the bugs and the issues, not everyone else -- not that I'm griping, mind you. Shawn
