You do not have to add another map. Here is how I do it. From your new node where the "plug in" is, click on it and drag it to the "Edge trans" Then, they will both be plugged into the same map. I found this out by cheating. I opened a Poser4 file that had a transmap. I then took it into the material room and found out how it was hooked up. You can plug in the Trans and the Trans Edge into the same node. Bill I can make a screen shot if you don't understand my weak attempt at explaining it.
