Thanks for the tips. Ron, I knew to redo the dynamics after each pose, never thought to do it when reloading the file. And it's too late to try it cuz I'd already fixed it. And the ball has no scalp. But it was the scene I saved, not the hair. pzrite: I moved the camera all over the place, nothing changed. The only way I could fix it was to move the hair up with the Ytrans dial. It's strange, too, because the hair is a child of the ball. I thought it had to follow its parent, not the other way around. In any event, I animated it and it worked fine. It took 20 frames for the hair to stop moving at the end, though.
