Subject: Non-Poser images in the gallery

I know this is going to annoy people here but that is not my intent. From time to time someone makes a posting criticising Poser figure renders as unrealistic. The immediate reaction is vehement denial backed up by myriad images and arguments to prove otherwise. But now people are complaining that an image cannot be a Poser render because it is too realistic?! Personally, I don't think realism is the be all and end all of art. Nonetheless I don't think we can have it both ways, can we? I do understand that this is not the point of this thread. But I also wonder if it is the point of the images posted. Hoisted by our own petard? - Jack
