What exactly are you trying to do? I'm not very good with the Wave and Magnet deformers yet myself, but unless you're doing something very strange, those plus the scaling dials should allow you to re-shape the cube, cylandar (sp?), or Flat Square into just about any shape you'd want. That is, if you're using P4. If you're using P3, then just ignore me... :-)
