Very nice image. For wood and moss, you can also check the terrain and special effects textures. Sometimes you can use an existing texture, then play with the settings to make it fit what you want it to do. I think you can only get good wind effects doing post work. If you are feeling daring, you might experiment with a cloud plane. You might also check amazon for prices on Poser.
