It doesn't matter what your running Poser 5 is not stable it's full of programing mistakes. I refuse to use it untill CL addresses and fixes the softwear. AND IT still burns my Butt that you at Curious labs made Poser 5, completely on purpose so it's not be easy to use Vicky and her Mil Family. I have spent lots of money on these wonderful models. I have a brand new computer, not on line. This old one I still use for internet. I use to crash Poser4 everyday with this gateway cow. With my New TriStar system, I have never crashed Poser4.I just rendered a picture, with the Mil Dragon, hi maps, Marforno's new Room, the dragon Horde of stuff, Nerds moon, 2 Vicky's fully dressed and other props. It rendered it 1 minute. But yet Poser 5 almost gave me a breakdown. I hate things that don't work. I have Pent 4.1.8GHZ Full tower-430Watt xeon ATX 1GB 266MHZ Ram 2 hard drives one 20 and The 80GB for poser windows 2000 vidio card is Quar04 700XGL 64MG I refuse to mess with any of my settings to even try and help Poser 5. Then it would mess up how great it works in everything eles. One un-happy CL Customer.
