If you enter the email you used for your original account in the login page and ten click the forgoten password link (err - I've forgotten the exact wording, but it should be obvious) they will automatically send you the randomly assigned password for your new account, which you can change from the account page - I think it was just there, but there may have been a further link. You do seem to lose your basket contents if you fill it before logging in, but if you (re)fill it after logging in and then click the "continue to checkout" button under the total cost entry at the bootom of the page you should be able to part with your lolly.
