I did notice your avatar Anthony. Pretty cool. I love that Grey Alien. That's one of my favorite playthings, along with Renderosibee and the Giger Alien (the creature from the "Alien" movies, for those who don't know). If I'm not mistaken, I think Sixpackwolf built that one, too, or at least collaborated, in which case I owe that guy a BIG thanks!;) Xoco, I don't think you're rude, and you're right. But still, it IS nice to know that someone is doing something with your hard work other than just archiving it on a CD, isn't it? I mean, when I see someone doing a Renderosibee pic, it's not an ego trip for me, but rather just the satisfaction of knowing that someone's getting a kick out of my creation. And, of course, seeing your freebies in use certainly helps encourage one to share more, doesn't it? Whereas if you never see anyone using your stuff, you have to wonder if you're just wasting your time. Or at least I do. As far as gallery pics getting comments, that's a whole other thing. If I really like a model, I'll end up using it somewhere eventually. But if I see a nice render, I may not say anything unless I really have something TO say, you know? And we all know you have to be VERY careful giving even slight constructive criticism around here...;) Not to mention that I rarely have time to spend in the gallery in the first place. I do admit to downloading a lot of stuff early on that I never ended up using and eventually deleted, but that's mostly because I ended up learning to model and would rather make stuff myself. There are still a few bits though, like the Grey Alien, that I'm not parting with.:)
