...my little "Knife thrower in training" Michael render got a grand total of 88 hits before it got buried under Titty Mountain (and okay, I'm fairly guilty of nude females, even alluring ones (See the Sun Faerie WIP in the Carrara gallery ferinstance.) OTOH, reading one viewer's comment about how it creeped him out so much that he woke up in the middle of the night to comment on it... damn, that gave me a huge ego kick, and was the best comment I've ever recieved, bar none. :) You are right though - it takes no time at all to set up a a porn render with some version of what I call a "Vicky w/ Vagina" mesh. OTOH, some rare stuff over at R'otica simply blows the mind with the time and technical ability that was put into the render by the artist. Take Il Geco for instance - his women are almost always middle-aged or older women, his sense of lighting and postwork is almost always to die for, and the moods and expressions he gives them are realistic to an ungodly degree. At least, they're realistic enough to make you think they're about to turn and curse at you at any second for barging in on 'em.
