I really don't think you need to go to all that trouble. I've not changed the default settings of IE, other than refusing it to allow automatic logons to any site, which I did during my first use of IE (do this for every update as well). Meaning that I always log on when visiting Rendosity or any other site (Yahoo, MSN, WSJ, etc). IE is set for medium security, on my XP, 98SE, and ME boxes and I have never received any SQL notices, white screens, or the like. I'd suggest deleting all your cookies and cache files (I do this every few weeks just to clean out the drive), tell IE or Netscape not to remember passwords or automatically log on to a site, and make sure it checks for page updates every time you visit the site. You can always go back to your original setting later if you wish.
