One comment...The air conditioner should be resting on the sill on the bottom of the window, not the top pane. Where you have it would give no support or security. also it can't just stick thru glass. It has to be in a window that is open enough for it to fit, and blocked off by something on either side of the opening, so the warm air doesn't come in the window.
