Yup, I use this action a lot and it SUCKS in Bryce 5, I don't know what happened from B4 to B5. Airflamesred is right, that is the way to do it, it just takes the fingers and patience of a brain surgeon to pull it off. I kind of stroke the cursor back and forth in the direction I want to go... I then push down the shift key, stroke back and forth a couple more times... Then I click the mouse button only in mid-stroke. *It's still comes down to stupidly precise timing.
