I think you mean you can't conform them to the figure. You can still parent them to the figure using [Figure/Set Parent Figure] from the menu. As for bone setup, you can build a new bone set instead of using predone bones. 1) Create the first bone at the center (small). The bone tool is the third from the right on the editing tools in the Setup room. 2) Then create the second bone raidating from the first going about halfway down one of the wing segments. 3) Then from that bone create another going the rest of the way down that wing segment. 4) Now select the Translate/Pull control and click on the first bone you made. Don't move it. 5) Switch back to the bone tool and do steps 2 and 3 for the next wing segment. 6) keep repeating this process of going back to the first (center) bone between creating wing segments. This will tie all the segments to the center (chest/hip) of the figure. 7) Now that you've drwan all your bones, assign the materials to each one. If you're wondering if you've got them all, check the material "NO BONE". If anything is highlighted, you've left out polygons. 8) Save your figure, then go to the Pose room and see how well it works. If it doesn't work, Delete everything, reload the figure in progress and work from it. I do it this way because when I'm testing I sometimes move something twice, and can't undo it, and I like to work from a very static base figure. Hope this helps. Jim
