Try to look at the task manager to see if it's actually loading up or if it's quitting right away for some reason. I also highly recommend turning off other applications that may be conflicting with it. The most typical problem software is virus software, because it's very invasive software. If worst comes to worst, try booting up into Safe Mode/VGA mode and starting from there. If it starts up, then that means that something is conflicting with it. Either there's some software running that conflicts with it, or you might want to update your video driver. I have no idea why it would suddenly stop working, though.
