Why should I have to buy the girls first just to buy a male kid model? IMO that's the rare example of not-so-great marketing from DAZ Are you kidding? It was brilliant -- you have to buy two products to use one. Sorta like triple-edge razor blades. :) Well, for me it is to get away from the mundane and contemporary world I have to deal with every day That's nice. But it doesn't answer why it has to be the sole thing we ever consider doing with this stupid program. Escapism is fine, but some of us still use Poser for more practical purposes, and it's next to impossible to justify to an art director why your illustration of the business world has the office secretary looking like a refugee from a Grade B fantasy flick. Frankly, I'm surprised anyone makes money from generating more of this fantasy/sci-fi/gothic/escapism stuff: the market is hopelessly glutted now. What more could you possibly add that would be even slightly fresh or original? But try to find stuff that people actually wear, and you're usually SOL. What is out there hardly ever gets the attention in construction detail that you find in the drooling parade of "fantasy armour" outfits. I'm learning how to model, and my first project? A decent suit jacket for both the defaul characters and Mike. Right now, what's out there leaves a lot to be desired, even the one from DAZ. So screw it, I'll make my own. Then I'll rescale it for Vicky, give it an alluring transmap, and call it "Vicky's Naughty Little Peekaboo Jacket". It'll make a fortune.
