That's pretty sweet about the cloth simulation. :) I wish it ran that fast on my machine! I've heard on here about some problems with Poser 5 causing processors to run hotter than usual (especially with the libraries open, it apparently runs the CPU at 100%). You might want to make sure that your processor isn't getting too hot... I saw a thread about that previously, but I don't remember the details about how to check your processor temperature.
