My usual method is to export the geometry then set up a new cr2 using PHI builder. You don't have to worry about anything but the hierarchy, because the only thing you're going to do with the new cr2 is copy the geometry section so you can paste it over the old one in your internal geometry figure. To get the figure numbers, load the figure in Poser and save it back to the library.
