The irony is that I seem to remember that when CL were saying absolutely nothing about when P5 would be out, the official word was that "it won't be released until it's ready". Err ... I have no way of knowing whether the copy protection is the root cause of many of the problems, but if it is, it certainly won't be the first time. There's a long history of "smart" copy protection screwing up the whole program for at least some users. In which case you would have the irony of CL expending considerable trouble and resources, and generating significant ill-will in the Poser community, with the net effect of breaking the product, and without (in all probability) actually improving sales.
