The parameter dials box can be a bit of a pain, but I really like the fact that the names of the dials aren't covered up by the numeric values any more (particularly on characters like Vicky and Michael, where there seem to be about a hundred dials, many with strange names). I really like being able to read them. And, after you get used to it, doing a CTRL-SHIFT-N to turn the box on and off soon becomes second nature (kind of like doing a TAB to turn the pallettes on and off in Photoshop).
