Well, DAZ has .exe files. I've only uploaded two .zips. Some day I hope to upload exe's cuz there is a definite time savings to the end user and that's good for the merchants. Just because its exe doesn't mean its virus. And if you dl an exe, the virus won't run until you execute it. So dl, run your virus scanner, and if it checks out, go for it. I presume that you have backup so that if your virus scanner doesn't catch it, you can restore. Granted we don't know merchants/free stuff exe's like we do MS, do some research. I would be more suspicious of an exe from a new contributor than I would from one with a long history with osity and a long track record.
