Here's an interesting one... using the Depth Cueing...the camera has to be at least 10 units away from the character..probably more than 10 units, as the closest the volume will appear is 10 units....this allows the volume material to be in front of the character. This image is overdone, but it is the same as the image I did above. I changed the light colors so they could be seen ...the depth color is gray... This also shows what that backdrop does..essential...or any other props in the scene would contribute as well
