Best way to place the table would probably be a top down view. To reduce the reflection of the water, select the water terrain/plane then click the little m to go to the material lab. Towards the bottom will be reflection setting. Suggestion: pick up Real World Bryce as soon as you can....it's the Bryce bible. :)
