I have posted some of this before. I read in the knowledge base or something like that in some info somewhere that if you are having a problem running some programs in "classic mode" you should go to OS 9.2.2 or whatever you are using and in the "extensions manager" switch to "basic mode". I had this problem and it seemed to solve it. Some people said it does not work doing this and others said it helped. I know it did for me. You might want to try it.
