Bloodsong ... It was partly by hand and partly other things ... The ripple ones were Fast Traxxs texture. I used a clip art shot a some lightning a little but most of it was by hand. Dont know about the size of his hammer but he threw it so I figured one handed would be good. Even with a gods strength and his guantlets and belt I figured it wouldnt do to be too big.
