Nope, thats not what I mean at all. There's enough free stuff around to utilize. The bottom line is a place for students for learning in an environment created by them. The marketing/advertising is part of the site overall anyway. That's what funds it. Everyone has the freedom to choose what to buy or not. (coke and pesi is physically addictive) But the fostering of art ideas is highest on my list too. I guess I just want this for my daughter. I wish I would have had all this creative software and content when I was her age. No I had to take accordian lessons. (shaking terribly now) I absolutly have nothing monetarily to gain through this. I was just pointing out what benefits there would be for everyone in the community. But your right, that should not be the push. Certainly emphasis should be placed on raw/fun knowledge Personally I would rather see kids/teens eventually gain the skills to model their own stuff. I do think it would be okay to offer parents/children some interesting options. Dwarfs, Gnomes, Elves, Fairys, etc from vendors but very reasonably priced. Maybe even a DAZ like discount. Sorry you took it this way. I'd rather see it operate in the purest sense too but on the otherhand there needs to be motivation for Renderosity to include a new audience. If they will do this as added value to their existing clients then all the better. Sorry istro I didn't meant to come across so capitalistic. Really what I'm looking for is dialogue here. Renderosity, the parents and kids/teens should flesh out all the details. I just think it is a wonderful idea. PS I too am dead against Coke and Pepsi in schools too for exactly the same reasons as well as serious health issues as well. I don't think we can go wrong with fostering creativity though. I'm also dead against corporate rule. Corps and their greed, is in my opinion, what is ruining our world; politically, environmentaly, health just to name a few of the problems.
