Subject: Wow! Have you been to Daz today?

Platinum club has new fairy wings and some really beautiful texture packs for them from Elusion and Silverleif! Just seeing the wings and all the different textures inspires me. :o)

Eowyn ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 3:30 PM

OH wow, they look wonderful! I'd better wait till next month before purchasing them though...

Chailynne ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 3:43 PM

I couldn't resist, Outi. LOL Wings and 28 wonderful textures for 9.95! Methinks Daz is giving us one heck of a deal with the club. :o)

Eowyn ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 3:51 PM

Well I'm trying to write my thesis here so I'd actually graduate one day... LOL... maybe it's better not to get new toys anymore this month. They'll still be there next month, I hope :)

Lyrra ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 4:30 PM

I think I like the metal wings the best - but the 'stained glass' ones are also very cool :) Good thing I just got a big new HD :) I hope that they can keep up the new products,w ithout sacrifising quality. I'd rather wait than see shoddy goods.

"Methinks Daz is giving us one heck of a deal with the club." Oh yeah. I'm going to save thousands of dollars there. I think this may be a good marketing idea after all. Afew bucks here, a few bucks there...

Crescent ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 5:05 PM

I wasn't going to get the wings until I saw the Silverleif textures. They're so gorgeous, I can't describe them without gushing! I've got some really neat ideas for them, too. The metallic ones are my favorites, but each set has at least 2 textures that are to-die for! Money is overrated anyway!

pokeydots ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 5:25 PM

lol I got pulled in by the magnet too! I got the wings and textures, then I had to get the olympian clothes for the season fairies!

If it is not too much to ask, would some of you consider posting images here of what you have done with the wings. I am sure that Anton, Merrilyn, Elusion and Lisa would love to see some of what you do with them. I would as well. Dan

Pokeydots, It is a very nice image. The Faerie Wings Deluxe was the product that I was the most excited about with release of the Platinum Club. It is fun to see what people can do with them. As for the Loft, we are still fine tuning the details of what products will be available there so I am unable to give specific details at this time. We will be releasing more details on the loft very soon though. Thanks for showing us the great image. Dan Farr

Just playing around and you can't see the wings all that well in this one but I'm still excited about them. LOL Lots of ideas... need the time to express them all. :o)

Feary and her gorgeous wings are so beautiful that I had to get a picture of her before she was even completely dressed. I hope no one's modesty will be offended. Thanks very much, Daz3d! The Platinum Club is one wonderful surprise after another. Kimberly

Wow! I stumbled across these on the Daz site yesterday and just couldn't resist 'em. The wings and rextures are fantastic! I just have to say the Platinum Club is one of the best investments I've ever made. The quanity and quality of the items available along with the discounted prices make this a phenomenal bargain. Can you tell I'm a happy camper? Thanks so much Dan and Daz =)

Lapis ( ) posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 10:10 AM

Everyone has posted some stunning creations here. Excellent work everyone! Maevryn, the picture you posted is breathtaking. It jumps off my screen. Love the high key. This render would look wonderful enlarged to about 2 x 3 feet or so, placed on hard board(frameless) and hung on a kids bedroom wall creating a sense of place. Great work! Wow!
