Back to the topic at hand:

I usually render on my laptop as it is the faster of my two computers ('til next week!!!). While it chugs away, I either surf or do some VBA programing so that the wife thinks I'm doing something constructive and not just laying about.

If time permits (meaning that "she who must be obeyed" is either not home or is otherwise involved with things not involving me)I render one version on the laptop while tweeking its sister on the desktop... lots of back and forth here.

Of course, if I know it will take a while, I'll head down to what Airflamesred calls a "boozer".
