I've been asking for a cat for several years. Dog models seems to be more the preference, but I'd prefer a cat. Even when DAZ was doing the cartoon thing, they did a dog but no cat. What's the deal here? Is everyone a cat hater? I'm working on a long-term project that involves both realistic cats (and a few dogs), and the Poser 3 dog and cat just aren't realistic enough. I don't think that fur is the problem since DAZ has created other animals with fur (horse, monkey, rat). May not be the same fur, but texturing shouldn't be that difficult. I photographed my cats and applied textures to the P3 cats. They came out fair, but don't look realistic because the P3 models don't look realistic.
