er... but you're supposed to make the conformer's hip y trans 0, not negative of the conformee's. or that offset weird stuff. to really REALLY zero a figure, you follow this procedure: 1: open the jp window and hit the 'zero figure' button. 2: grab the hip and set the x/y/z trans dials all to 0. 3: grab the BODY and set the x/y/z trans dials all to 0.
