Poser 4 runs fine in Classic mode under Mac OS X huh. Your're having way more luch than I am. I click on the Icon and get the error message "the application Poser 4.0 has unexpectedly quit" before it even opens. It has been that way since I upgraded to OSX. I have to actually restart in 9 to use it at all, and as I said in my last messge, it is so buggy now that I can't use it. The only thing I can think of is that I did not reinstall any of my os9 applications when I installed OSX, so if you installed poser 4 after installing OSX (or if your computer came with OSX already in place) that could explain the difference. If that is the case, let me know and I will do a reinstall. I dread taking that step since I have so much Daz and free stuff in the directories and reinstalling all (or even some) of it does not seem like a fun chore, but if it would mean I could use Poser again and potentially get the pro-pack, it would be worth it.
