Also keep in mind, the Mini is quite possibly, the most important car on a historical basis. The fact that around 75-80% of all cars sold on this planet directly owe their front-drive, transverse engine/gearbox arrangement to the Mini is much more significant then a car that happened to be built on an assembly line (Model T) or an ill-handling, slow, crapbomb design stolen from the Czechs (Beetle).
