as was said the texture glitch was a bug which was fixed. and I think it's pretty unfair to call P5 a toy simply becouse no other program can import P5 hair yet. I believe there is a hair plug in for max (at what price?) can you export the hair from that? in fact there are a few different High end (and High priced) hair plug-ins for the various high end cg programs and as far as I know none of them are compatable with other programs. of course anyone who want's to call P5 a toy has a right to do so. but I for one enjoy this "toy" and would not want to pay the thousand + entrance fee to get out of the "toy" realm.
